VINTAGE: Laura’s Trash-the-Dress (Pensacola Wedding Photographer Waxes Nostalgic about Bluffton)
It’s been two years since I’ve shot Laura, but her “trash the dress” shoot remains one of my all-time favorites. She got married on Saturday and chopped her hair off the following Wednesday. A month later, we decided to do a shoot that felt totally different than her wedding – we went for something gritty with a fashion feel. I still love all of these, and thought I would re-post them in honor of finding out that Laura and Nate are about to welcome a second daughter! Congratulations. You are one hot mama.
(Oh – the Lemon Island Marina was condemned the week after we shot these. For obvious reasons…)
(Double oh – a bridal portrait is another a great opportunity for shots like these! You will have a ton of romantic photos from your wedding day – why not use your bridals to experiment with something riskier?)
I don’t typically do a lot of selective coloring, but I do think this shot called for it.
