There were so many incredible details at Cassie and Adam’s wedding that I felt like I was getting the chance to do five different photo shoots in one afternoon. Here’s a top-ten list of my favorite things:
10. The amazing orange trees outside Old Christ Church, dropping ripe fruit and providing gorgeous backgrounds.
9. Cassie’s tea-length dress (okay, she actually had TWO gowns and I loved them both, but the short one was b-a-n-a-n-a-s).
8. Paper flowers. That’s right. Paper. Cassie made them. ALL of them. They were creative, unique, and didn’t wilt.
7. The rain. Usually, rain stinks on your wedding day. In this case, Cassie and Adam were willing to risk getting a little damp so we were able to do some incredibly fun shots.
6. Candy. EVERYWHERE. From the peace-sign lollipops to the candy rings, there was color and sweetness everywhere I looked.
5. The Museum of Commerce. This is one my favorite locations in Pensacola. There’s a vintage cable car in the middle of the room. And a working stoplight. And a CABLE CAR (did I mention that?)
4. Adam’s shoes, and those of his groomsmen. You start at the top (handsome), work your way down (dapper and well-dressed), and you end at the feet (cheeky, fun, and unexpected).
3. The bridal party. I laughed. A LOT.
2. Cassie and Adam’s fearlessness. Really, they were willing to do ANYTHING I asked. And then, they suggested what I wanted to ask but didn’t dare…
1. The Volkswagon bus. Especially the photos at the bottom. Nothing like closing out wedding season on top of an old VW bus. In the rain. With a sparkler.

Did you know Coca Cola’s original bottles looked like this? Me neither! But of course, Cassie did

He’s, um, pouring some sugar on them. Guess what song was playing? Yes. This happened.
