I love shooting Anna! She is laidback, funny, adventurous, and photogenic. Our excursion to Bellingrath Gardens last month was so fun and I love the way the shots turned out. Here are a few of my favorites, which I am delighted to finally post now that Anna has become a MRS!

Alex and Andy’s fabulous wedding was this past Saturday (still recovering! so fun!), so it seems timely to post a selection of Alex’s bridals from Palafox Pier. If possible, she was even more gorgeous on her wedding day…photos of that still to come!

Andrea and Justin’s Barkley House wedding was this past weekend, and it was delicious (literally! you will see what I mean when I blog the wedding…). While I work on their photos, I had to share some of Andrea’s bridal shots, taken in May at the Barkley House. I love the combination of vintage and modern in her style, and I think this shoot reflects that.

I am going to miss Julie and Dane! Their Milton wedding was gorgeous and warm, just like the families involved. As I process their photos, I had to post this delicious shot from Julie’s bridal portrait…
More to come soon

Brittany is the gorgeous bride who think she takes terrible pictures. Obviously, this was disproven at her engagement portrait, and I think these bridal shots put the final nail in the coffin that she is not photogenic. Love these, and love her

It’s been two years since I’ve shot Laura, but her “trash the dress” shoot remains one of my all-time favorites. She got married on Saturday and chopped her hair off the following Wednesday. A month later, we decided to do a shoot that felt totally different than her wedding – we went for something gritty with a fashion feel. I still love all of these, and thought I would re-post them in honor of finding out that Laura and Nate are about to welcome a second daughter! Congratulations. You are one hot mama.
(Oh – the Lemon Island Marina was condemned the week after we shot these. For obvious reasons…)
(Double oh – a bridal portrait is another a great opportunity for shots like these! You will have a ton of romantic photos from your wedding day – why not use your bridals to experiment with something riskier?)

I don’t typically do a lot of selective coloring, but I do think this shot called for it.

I remember the first time I met Jessica. It was at the Pensacola Bridal Expo last January (The fact that I remember this is quite astonishing. Bridal shows are kind of a blur. I love being a part of them – meeting all of the brides, the energy thrumming through the building, the adrenaline of so many people in one place – but there are so many faces that I rarely remember one in particular.). I had been looking forward to her bridal portrait since then, and I’ve been looking forward to POSTING them since we shot them in September. Now that she and Brian are hitched (more on THAT, later!), I can finally reveal her beautiful portraits…

When I visited Savannah last month, I had the privilege of spending the afternoon with Rachel and her mother at Rose Hill Mansion in Bluffton (I can’t believe I used to live literally five minutes away from the gorgeousness that is the Rose Hill Mansion, and I never visited!). It was a perfect setting for a bride who is simply radiant, and I have had a hard time sitting on these images until after her wedding. So, after a month of being antsy, here are a few of Rachel’s beautiful bridal portraits!

I do love a bride who doesn't take herself too seriously!
